Images from Day One-AHSGR Portland Convention

Just a few quick comments about a wonderful start to the AHSGR convention.  We began the day at St. Michael's Sanctuary.  This view of the altar was the perfect background to our key note address.

Fabian Zubia Schultheis shared his knowledge of the Volga German colonies in Argentina.




Brent Mai informed the audience of his research on the Volga Relief Society and their remarkable efforts to quickly aid the starving German Russians during 1921-23.
